Home Camp gives insight to the daily family life. Within the walls of the “Family Tent” everyday items can be found. Wood chests are full of textiles and clothing, wood planked beds are topped with quilts of period fabrics and buffalo hides, the floor is strewn with canvas and rugs, there are games to play (chess, liar’s dice, Shut-the-Box) and in the corner a collapsible traveling wood stove. Hungry? The kitchen area is equipped with all the necessities to cook and serve all best meals of the time and the table is set!
